Come on guys don't let him win again. And I would say high 30s isn't that great... (*hint hint)
good i like high powered cars more than the shitty Mini Cooper S... i had better aim for higher than third i think (2 weeks running is annoying me)...
i would seriously have to see proof of that too belive what you are insinuating... coz after busting it out for a good hour i was only just getting it into the high 30's...Originally Posted by Bob

how are people gunna prove that they had no driver aids... it doesn't appear on the screen when you want to take a photo of your best lap time... people can say that they did a time without the driving aids, when really they did...Originally Posted by Jack_Bauer
with the traction control on i can do a 1'36 but with traction control off i haven't been able to crack a 1'38 lap yet...

now THERES a good point.
another is that i picked up god of war today so it looks like GT4 is gonna have to wait!
I'm about to throw a brick through the TV! This car is so frustrating to drive.
I am going to my dad's tonight so I'll have a go at this, let's see how it goes.

Sadly there is no way of really proving whether someone had TC on or not. But the whole point of this particular challenge is to test your OWN traction control skills so hopefully we'll be able to rely on people's good sporting ethics not to cheat!Originally Posted by shockwaveracing

and obviously a TCS lap would be WAAAYY faster so it would probably be kind of obvious if they cheated

I think the wheel and pedals give a HUGE advantage on this course, being that its so much easier to control the power with your foot than with your thumb. I love this car and its handling is great, you just have to know how to use it effectively. I haven't tried this with traction control on, but I'm running with max hp and minimum weight and besides a few sections I haven't had much of a problem. I think this is the best challenge yet. Good luck all.
Got in the 1'30's tonight.Don't know if its fast or not.

how about we have a controller bracket and a wheel/pedal bracket because bob is right you have a huge advantage and i only have a wheel for xbox, unless tehre is a converter to make my wheel work on sps2
