Do you perhaps have any pictures of these, a search turns up fruitless for me.
EDIT: That most certainly seems to be it, thanks Revo! I'd still like some pictures of the American Crossleys though .

yep, that certainly is the car you were looking for, here is a pic of the Crossley engine fitted in a special shown at Laguna Seca this yearOriginally Posted by Sauc3

And I have another one now. Yesterday we stopped for lunch in Beechworth, and what do I spot but this absolutely gorgeous Lancia. I have several pictures, and I was wondering if anyone could identify this particular Lancia. Thanks in advance.
I have more pictures if needbe.

This is Lambda. I think it was first car that did not have body-on-frame design.Originally Posted by Sauc3
Yeah, smxi, you got it
A brief description can be found here
Okay, here is another one.
I know it is a Fiat. And I suspect it is a custom bodywork built on a Topolino chassis. But then again I could be completely wrong.
Can anyone put a name on this car?
Carrozeria?
Year?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks smxi. After a bit more research, it seems to be a 1927 Lancia Lambda Torpedo, absolutely gorgeous... Thanks guys.Originally Posted by smxi
is the Fiat not a special Balilla Spider?

Already did a Balilla/508 search without any positive resultsOriginally Posted by henk4
This car is special indeed...
Right, here are few more Italian exotics I cannot identify. I would like to know model, carrozeria, year.
I suspect that white Maserati is bodied by Frua, any comments on that?
Any help's appreciated.
I would bet the third one is a Maserati 5000 GT Frua

Haha, I thought you, mr-knows-it-all, would reply here
Okay, third one is bodied by Frua, but why do you think it's 5000 GT not 3500 GT or Sebring?
I think 5000 GT, as you can see it previews the style of the Quattroporte, which in some ways was the substitute of the 5000 GT. And the first one could be a coachbuilt Alfa Romeo 1900 Sprint.Originally Posted by Revo
EDIT I can now confirm the second one is a Maserati 3500 GT by Frua. And I was also wrong on the third one. This one is also a Maserati 3500 GT by Frua.
