pondering things
I've done hundreds of lights and switches at work. They aren't very complex.
Take off another light and look at how its done. Just do the same on this one. The bare copper (ground) wire should attach to one screw, black (negative) to another, white (positive) to another. The last empty screw doesn't matter - it would only be used by an electrician if they were to put on additional lights straight from there.
By the way, an electrician wouldn't charge you 300+ dollars for this, you completely made that part up. Any electrician of any skill level would be able to do that in under a minute.
yup yup, i did it!!!! I think the switch is broken tho..... it wont turn off
U think i wired it wrong, or switch broken?
i thknk your a Richard
Cedric - I sound like a chipmunk on there. Some friends of mine were like, "were you going through puberty?" I was like, no I was already 20, I just sound like a girl.
lol^^
Well if it was broken to begin with you're obviously not going to fix it by taking it apart and putting it back together.Originally Posted by Orefus
Last Resort Option: Take the white and black wires and press both onto your tongue at the same time.
