    100m GBP will go close to getting you a 747 h00t h00t, not just a 737. Unfortunatly the Concorde will not fly again, BA and Air France refuse to sell the ones that still have.

    As for cars ~180 behind the wheel at a guess ~230 in the passanger seat of a CCR (on the road). For some strange reason in the CCR I wasn't looking at the speedo......

    The FAA were not going to keep licensing the 'plane.
    Air France had no real interest in keepign them going so they fell by the wayside.
    Theyr'e all in museums now - one only 15 miles from me

    Duxford, great place, thanks to them ive been in concorde, a B-52, and a B-47, and many more, although none of them actually had engines in...

    I've pegged the lame-o 85mph speedo in my truck (it was probably about 105, then I got nervous about the pigs pullin me over), went about 115 in my old Mustang, 120 in my Dad's old Mustang, and had my Mom's turbo Beetle up to 135.

    I've been 209 mph in a Supercharged Viper GTS ACR. It was on an Air Canada runway, and we actually needed to catch a wire to slow down...
