I found a fewinteresting cars at the upcoming CHristie's auction in Paris.
#59 Maserati Quattroporte II prototype '74
Only 13 Quattroporte II were produced. This one is the only car built to perfection. All the others were equipped with various Quattroporte I parts. It's the second prototype (the first one was used for crash-testing), shown at the Paris Motor Show in 1974.
estimate: 60-90.000 EUR (not too much IMO)
#62 FSO Warszawa 200 (not M20 as is stated in the catalogue!) '58 The first time I see a polish car at Christie's This particular Warszawa was owned by bishop Karol Wojtyla, before he became Pope John Paul II. It's in "barn condition" and will require quite a lot of work. That must be the reason why the estimate is only 5-15.000 EUR.
#64 Jaguar XK120 Roadster '51
This car took part in 1951 24h Le Mans. Was 11th in the general classification (highest place ever for XK120).
estimate: 300-375.000 EUR
#72 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkI Drophead Coupe '55
It's an Aston Martin. It's enough for me to feature it here Whatmore, it's one of only 102 DB2/4 dropheads made, and it belonged to sir Peter Ustinov.
estimate: 75-125.000 EUR.
