    Weekly Photo-Edit (Minimal restrictions) Competition

    The Rules are as follows:
    -You may edit the photo in anyway except you are only allowed to edit the original material. In other words you can't use bits and pieces from other pics. So you can do all you like to the original photo to bring the best out of it. Things like removing unwanted objects or using effects etc. will be allowed. The reason that importing 'bits' from other photo's/pics will not be allowed because then it will turn into a chopping comp!! Makes sense!

    -And that's the only restriction editing wise... Go for it! (Make sure your photo is 800x600 pixels or less, you can post a high res pic if you like so people can use it for other purposes)

    -You have to enter in the photo that came straight off the camera (the original) aswell as the edited photo so arguments won't arise about bringing in extra bits and pieces from other pics.

    -You are only allowed to post one entry per comp, so that means no updating unless you do it through the "edit post" function. This will stop unwanted clutter and so we can track your entry easier.

    -The person who wins the competition runs the next comp but is still allowed to enter. This will save me (as i'm not always on) from missing an update etc. and also makes it run a bit smoother. If you are having trouble running the comp, private post (or use other means) a more experienced member to get help. They should be happy to help. Remember that quoting these rules every now and again may be helpful. When you post the Poll post the next comp so the new entries can be entered.

    -The photo can only be taken in the last month.

    -If you are caught abusing/breaking the rules you will be suspended from the comp for 2 rounds. Fair enough!!

    P.S. Remember to include this info with your pic:

    -->Username
    -->Name of pic
    -->Camera photo taken with
    -->Date taken
    -->Editing program
    -->Breif description of edits

    i was planning to add a little more restriction, but most people who were disagreeing with the other comps wanted to be able to do anything to the pic, but without turning it into a chop comp.

    Anyway, i'll be fine running it this time round thanks, but as i said, whoever wins it can run the next one. Send me a private message if you want to discuss the rules

    and how old may the picture be ??? Which subjects ?(i assume no adult material(edit:unfortunately)) i think you need to be a little bit mre specific and think about some things first

    edit:
    you should also post a short desccription of how to make a voting/posting thread,since some might not be able to do it.

    You oviously haven't noticed the arguments that arise about editing in other photo comps.

    Anyway, lets see some entries.
