Well iv'e been driven by a few various lpg converted cars and ive experienced them with petrol the difference isn't that evident. If you convert a car to lpg you paying half the amount for petrol therefore proportionaly your mpg increases by around 100% as for the same amount of money you will buy twice as much gas. Thats how i see it anyway correct me i im way off

    a 2.5l doesn't that have pep???
i was driven in one but i didn't notice the engine size so i can't remember which one it was, but the way it was being driven every ounce of power was being squeezed out of it , those people who have driven in a car in Poland that they all think they're rally drivers, so its pretty mad on the roads.

I saw the pic of the lada aswell looks pretty mad but some how i can't see that fitting through the bollards(the ones you have to slow down for they're only about 40cm wider than the car) on london roads But still looks like fun

Guys, get a KIT CAR. You can easily find insurance fro £300 fully comp and lots of cars out there for £1000-1500 that as well as begin different will ALSO be pretty fast. My 18 y/o daughter's Quantum is fast -- go search UCP for more on it

how come your friend can't get a subaru forester? I'm sure they have those in europe
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

kit car insurance is different from normal insurance????

i didn't know i thought that all insurance was expensive when your a young driver, well with the exception of classic car insurance.

Yep. Specialist underwriters who know more about the cars and evalaute the drivers and risks more accurately resulting in lower premiums

Even better when your old..... Fully Comp NO no claims bonus one year kit car for £100 ( and the kit can lap one of our tracks only one second slower than my Alpine - faster than a Scoob )

'course not all kits, you'll find Caterhams and Westfields more expensive but a Sylva Stryker ( better than them ) for less

Add to that with most kits you can drop in a smaller engine for a year or so and then put the big engine back and you can do it real cheap at the start. ( Better too as you learn without having a too-fast a car. Daughter not happy of course as I turned down a Ferriday engine for her Quantum )

    Suka's plan IIRC

You'll struggle to get a Sylva for less than £3000.
Most have BDA or X-flow and are £5000-6000.
Mates selling his -- can either be a 1300 x flow or a BDA, both engines fully lightened, balanced and flowed. Been used on track and even as a rally car for two events - so a little battle-scarred underneath He's looking for the 6 IIRC. So out of your range, sorry.
Suka woudl be good to drop a PM.
You can pick up Quantum Coupes for about a grand. But they are more "car liek" than kit. ( You can find my daughters in various threads a quick search will get it ) Keep an eye on ebay kit car section Hell there's a Ginetta Coupe ( OK needing work ) going for £100 at the moment

and it's only gone up to £104
If you're comfortable doing the work this coudl end up a steal ( but remember early Ginettas leaked like sieves. IIRC the Coupe weak spot was the boot seal
