I've always wondered what the four leaf clover meant on an alfa romeo. I thought for a while that it had something to do with four valves per cylinder, but I thiunk I've seen it on other alfa's. Does anyone know?

AFAIK it's because it represents luck. So they used to put it on their race cars for luck during races.
