My '69 Cadillac Used In TV Series- Photos

Last week, a motion picture car locator said that my '69 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham was chosen for a scene in the TV series "Cold Case." The filming was done yesterday (Friday) for a one-day shoot. The episode it will appear in is called "Forever Blue" and is supposed to air in mid-December. For the episode, my car is "owned" by a drug dealer. A police car pulls up behind him and he is "arrested" while standing at the rear of my car. The camera then shows the inside (rear compartment) of the car as the illegal drugs are taken out of it.

It will be really fun to see my Cadillac on TV! Here are some behind-the-scene photos which the car locator took at the scene in downtown Los Angeles. The year is supposed to be 1968 (I guess late '68).

Whoa, awesome stuff Fleet! I'll definitely look out for your car.

Did you apply for this kind of thing or did they just randomly call you about it?

Did they take all the drugs out or could you keep a few ounces?

    Re movies and Cadillacs:

Fleet have you seen Stone Killer (1973) with Charles Bronson? I'm not 100% sure but IIRC there's a 'Mafioso' Caddy like yours in this movie, which has lots of full-on car chases throughout. A must see if you haven't caught it - lots of wheel-spinning action and Bronson crash-intercepts, although Charlie does go through a stack of Plymouth Satellites

When they make a documentary about the stupidest-looking cars in the world, I'm sure they'll give you a call.

No, luckily the "drugs" were removed after filming. It would have been nice, though, if they had left a pile of money on the back seat.

I think I've seen that movie many years ago. But now that you mentioned it, I'll have to look for it on DVD or VHS.

My car is on file and the producer of the show chose my car for the scene/episode. The movie car locator then contacted me.
