    I was staying in the city centre near China Town last trip down, not my usual place. My usual place in Carlton is about 2 mins walk from Lygon Street and miles away from that round-about you mention, which I also hate.
    Isn't Royal Melbourne Hospital more Flemington than Carlton?

    Prices for PI was like $15 i think a head last year (less for students...) and motor show was like... $25? i cant remember

    The link Cyco posted at the start of the thread said it was only $10 for Friday - no mention of that being for students. Sounds like the general admission on Friday is $10.

    Yeh it is really quite a pittance for what you are getting, they could charge double that and i'd still pay.

    you did pay double that last year since it was $20 and i got the student discount..
