problem is that fuel consumption is a "floating variable". It greatly depends on the driver and the way in which the car is driven. I am not in favour of putting in the EPA or ECE figures, as the only thing you are sure about is that they are not realistic.
Mine varies from anything between 5.5 liter per 100 km to 8.5 liter depending on my mood, the traffic situation and the speed limits.
