    NEW Peugeot 308

    Peugeot recently presented the new Peugeot 308, looking like a mixture of the 207 and 307 with backend remaining of mixture of 307, Renault Megane, Suzuki Swift and Toyota Auris, it's basing on the same platform like the Citroen C4. the C4 is the much better alternative, isn't it.

    engines:
    petrol: 1.6L 120, 150 & 175 hp, 2.0L RC about 220 hp
    diesel: 1.6L 90 & 110 hp, 2.0L 136 hp, 2.2L 170 hp

    sales start in 4th quarter year

    I've seen pictures of it and I have to say, it is seriously fugly.

    I hope that the 1.6-litre engines are also made available in the C4, though.

    huh?? 308? they only just facelifted the 307, and finished releasing the entire "07 range..

    this shouldnt happen for a good 2 years

    It looks a bit fat and ungainly but I kinda like it, but as Rik stated, what the f**k are they doing?!

    Hur? I actually thought it's ok when i was looking at the thumbnails. But then it's the really overtly done 'detailing' that got my nerves on, the shark nose, those unneccessary un-elegant lines ....

    One can hardly call this "design"... Man ! I disliked the entire '07 range and now this ! Even worse !

    The body isn't bad, but Peugeot really likes the huge fat spot on the bonnet and a gigantic intake

    6 years is the typical life-span before the production tooling becomes worn out - replacing bumper moulds is an acceptable investment, but when you need to replace everything, you might as well be making a new car.

    I'm not entirely sure what they did wrong.... the lines are there but they just look....wrong, if you know what i mean..... ok the roof line is something out of a horror film but yeah......hmmm *sighs* wanna seriously hope the 908 is a succesfull race car so that they got some money to blow on design
