    Toyota RAV4 Cross Sport

Actually, nothing serious, but still it is a new modification with increased carter defence and expanded basic complectation (navigation, parktronic and the original interior materials). Also there is no more extra wheel on the 5th door - it is hidden under the luggage floor.
    Europe only.

You know, I've really came around to liking the RAV4. The new one is so sweet, especially with that V6 option. 270 hp in a RAV4 is just out of this world!

It's no longer a RAV4. RAV4 is supposed to be fun, cheeky, stylish. This looks like a poor attempt from Korea trying to do a mini luxury SUV.... well of course what i mentioned is totally judgemental on the aesthetics. . . i know it'll have that same good ol toyota quality, build, reliability and safety thou...

There is definitely a cool aesthetic about the spare wheel on the trunk.

I don't think the RAV4 was ever really meant for true offroading, so it now looks more the part it has always played.

But the FJ Cruiser is a serious offroading machine.

I agree THE FJ CRUISER looks and performs the part very well.

As far as toyota's line up of 4X4's, my favorite is the 1996 mega cruiser

I like a lot of Toyota's 4X4s. My favorites include the early Land Crushers (I know it's really Land Cruiser, but it's a fun nickname to say) and the early 4Runners.

That looks a lot like they copied someone.....

Can't put my finger on what SUV though.

Is it still in production? It'd be interesting to see a comparo between the two.

actually i believe they based it on the HUMMER H1 which was popularized back in the nineties. they were also probably influenced with the Lamborghini LM 4x4. I think the FJ cruiser, if i am not mistaken, is their replacement for the megacruiser. But it's still popularly used in Japan.

I love the old land cruisers as well. and hi lux pickups too. i was impressed in its 4x4 capabilities especially during my mt. Pinatubo. trip

The Mt. Pinatubo trail in Zambales, philippines is a good place to test out a 4x4 vehicles.
