1988 Honda CRX: The handling was absolute shit. It sounded like a lawn mower. The headlights at night were equivalent to two fireflies taped to the bumper. The ride was so bad that I would feel safer and more comfortable doing a 500km road trip in a go kart.

the hyundais I used to drive around the lot. Last generation Accents. Boy did they ever feel cheap.

3)1986 Ford F-350 - What I used to learn how to drive. It was a diesel 5-speed quad-cab dually in baby blue. A bit too much for a for a 9 year old, even in the middle of a field.

2) 1986 Mazda 323 - Had to drive a friends car because he was drunk. It wouldn't have been that bad, but the clutch had 1 foot in the grave. His factory speakers were blown, and he had 2 insanely loud sub woofers pounding out some tasteless rap.

1) Late seventies 3 axle dumptruck - Didn't catch the make, it was pretty dark. I was too young to drive it and we were up to no good - and thats all I've got to say about that.

Please, this is fiction. Terry Thomas's car in the comedy "School for Scoundrels" is an Aston DB3 which was hardly whippy... and had no relationship whatsoever with the Elva Mk 5 shown in the accompanying link. Top 3 worst cars (you've ever driven) is the topic. Thread revival requires something more than misdirection which is already quite prevelent on the intarwebs. It doesn't belong here.

I have driven other cars, like a 1998 Renault Scènic 1.6e with 90bhp, a 1991 Volkswagen Polo 1.3 GT (75bhp), a 2011 Seat Ibiza 1.2 12v (70bhp) or a 2010 Toyota Prius.

All of which ran four rings around the cars mentioned in the original post.

Was it a shitty handler due to design or to being badly maintained? I've heard nothing but praise for the way CRXs drive and am considering one for myself.
