Nobody's really managed a realistic damage to the driving model imho, RBR got closest
    Agreed.

Forza isn't that realistic. When i hit a barrier head on at even 70mph i don't expect the engine to start again...

I don't know. When I first played Forza I left the damage set on full simulation......and blew my motor by bouncing it off the rev limiter while sitting on the line waiting for the race to start.

I've seen a car hit a concrete block at 30mph and it was written off, couldn't move, too damaged. Thats what i want. I hit a tree in RBR at 30(ish)mph and it stalled the engine, car would turn over after that...

That only happens in Forza, not Forza 2, one of the first things i noticed...

In the Asian driving games I play at the local arcade, you can hit walls at massive speeds and your car will not be damaged. In Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 1, 2 and 3 you can hit a concrete barrier in a head on crash and your car will not be damaged and acceleration and performance will not decrease. In Initial D version 2, 3 and 4 (I've never player version 1) you can hit walls and there is no damage to the car at the end of your race or time attack. In Daytona USA you can see the damage which you have done to your car.
