Speaking of jobs, I went to a job interview today for Lube City. Apparently the guy is going to think about me for a week. Its now a waiting game.

I did a bit of work experience at Mr. Lube and its pretty much the same as Lube City, only a bit different. Mr. Lube does tires, courtesies (such as washing windows, putting windshield fluid in, checking the battery, putting Honey Dew on the door and hood hinges to keep them lubricated, and checking tire pressure, checking oil and transmission fluid), transmission draining, oil changing, cabin and air filters as well, tire repairs, tire replacements (we found vice grips in one tire that was brought in for repair, not lying!!), as well as rotating and balancing them. Mr. Lube also does differential checks and draining. They also like to check, once the car is on a hoist and in the air, boots, tread measurement, fuel filter (which they replace as well), and other parts like how rusted the exhaust pipe is and what not.
At Lube City, they practically do everything but tires. But both are a first come, first server basis. I really enjoyed doing working with that kinda stuff. I could honestly do all day.
Some days it wasn't bad. We'd get a healthy amount of custumers sometimes. Then other days were hectic. Then some other days were really dead. But other than that, it was awesome. But its something that I plan to do as a job until I finally decide what I'm going to do for post-secondary.

Took the Polo to a track day at wakefield pre christmas. Delaminated one tyre and balded another lol. Good times.
Estimated best lap 1:18. Based on a mate who got 1:19s and I was consistently a bit quicker then him.
40 degree day + wind = suck.
Polo with A/C and tinted windows = win.
The Stanza continues to wait for me. I start it up once a month and check it for leaks etc but with rego now $733 a year... its looking unlikely to hit the road anytime soon
The Datto will rage again...
Rego is getting fairly ridiculous in the ACT.
But you have to. God wills it.
