Get the new Cadillac CTS. You can probably pick it up in the mid-30k range.

I can't say I've been in an Evo X because I haven't. However I did have a ride in a white G8 GT with my friend Chris. It's got alot of balls and sounds nice.

A coworker of my mother's had a CTS and she hated it and reported problems after the warranty expired. She got a new Nissan Maxima and she loves it.
I conclude that that Cadi is not for me.
I am guessing she had a GM V6, all of which are not very reputable.
GM's V8s, on the other hand, are amazing, reliable, and incredibly efficient for their size. That's why the regular 'ol G8 with the V6 is not an option.

My mom absolutely despises like the Subaru Impreza (she's a very powerful woman).
The Subaru Legacy 2.5GT spec.B i really nice in my opinion and it should be super-reliable since it's a Subaru!
But there is still a while for me to wait until the car search will go to full scale.
For now, I am trying to add candidates other than the Pontiac G8 GT.
March and April of 2009 is the time of decision.

add a new liberty/legacy wagon.
Uber reliable, not far off the pace of far more expensive wagons (6.1 sec 0-100kph) and very nice inside too.
