The Genesis won North American Car of the Year.
All this talk of whether these cars are sold in America or whether Americans are fat or whatever doesn't matter you are all overlooking the real problem and that is how can we vote on the 2009 World Car of the Year when its January 27?! Shouldn't this be the 2008 WCOTY? Or The 2009 for the Calender Year 2008 World Car of the Year?
The winner should probably be either the 500 or the Fiesta.
I like this..do the Americans hate GM so much that they forgot to include the European COTY? The Opel Insignia....

Don't worry. I will definitely use more smileys per post from now on. Like this one: .
I like discussing as well, so in the end it's all good.
And I can't believe the Fiesta is winning, the Mazda 2 is just it and already won last year. Oh, and for what it is the GT-R is quite affordable.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
The GT-R can take world performance car though

and should be available as a Chevy too, sometime.
as far as some journalists are supposed to decide, this is another pointless prize. even more considering an expert on cars like the 500 or Fiesta doesn't have a decent cue on a Journey or other cars from NA and viceversa.
as if they know enough about their own cars...

Yeah, taken several for the fun of it, then realized I have a math minor now. Crazy/irrelevant math is great stuff.
I'd totally become a stripper, but no one would pay to see my furry butt, so it's not worth it. Besides, I hate to dance. I don't know about other parts of the world, but you can make a boat load of money in a short amount of time doing that here if you look good enough and I am nothing if not greedy and lazy.

Too bad the mean age of those who are interested in buying any Buick is >76 years old.
Fact of the matter is, it wouldn't look cool to be driving a Buick. It's always had that impression that it was always grandpappy's car. And it still is as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather drive a Cadillac CTS.
