You're not alone
It looks overwrought, overbodied and contrived; especially against the appealingly practical and cleanly styled previous model.
I hate the current trend towards ever-smaller windows, which in turn brings overly thick body panels that are slathered with excessive 'surface development' to disguise the visual heft.
that Fiesta looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than what us North Americans have. ( with the exception of the Mustang of course )

Mah boi, UCP is what all true warriors strive for!
PINGAS!!!!
Anyone else notice the uncanny visual kinship between previous Fiesta and Nissan X-Trail?
Too lazy to post pics to show .. but its like they came out of the same design studio.
I've got to say I don't see the X-Trail Connection.
But the Murano...Definately.

imo the old fiesta was awesome, looked hilarious in that white with blue stripes theme.

Exactly. It's just simply win because it's not overwrought.
can you imagine this car with gigantic lulzstripes?

I'm in agreement with the general new Fiesta is ugly consensus.
The Mazda 2 looks so much better.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
yes! i'd quite like to see a factory sporty option, MPS model or something. something to play with the abarth 500 and what not.

The KA is about the same size at the 500.
In fact, they are essentially the same car.
This would have to compete with the Polo GTi.
I know where i'd spend my money.

....Pretty much.
At a pinch the Poo-lo.
But more than likely something used.
