Haw.... that puny Brit thing ain't nothin' compared to the Boss Hoss. Do NOT mention his >ahem< compensatin' fer anything.
Only in 'Murika:
Never own more cars than you can keep charged batteries in...
Is that not more like a kit manufacturer or custom maker than a production line item ?
In term sof just crazy compensation I always saw this as a "winner"

In the sportsbike front, I just found this on Autoblog. The FGR Midalu 2500 V6.

That thing is begging for the cafe treatment...... Triumphs make quite nice ones thanks to that lovely vintage styling.
No, if you want a bad ass bike, you need one of these

Nice bike dude! I actually took a Scrambler out for a burn today, great fun. Pipes are annoying as shit though.

Yea, not sure about the high pipes on the Scrambler. I'd've been sorely tempted by a Thruxton though if I could find one in my price range, much more the cafe racer style.

I don't know much about bikes.
So, congratulations and enjoy it!

Visca Catalunya!
I just got a cash offer on my Gixxer whilst waiting for my test-ride on the Scrambler and was seriously considering it (and was also considering building myself a little Deus-style tracker from an RD), but I've decided to finally put some proper cash into it and make thing really nice (Ohlins up it's arse, new headlight unit, paint, bellypan/rad covers, quickshifter etc etc).
Bike swap time!

Are you an Inner-Westy as well? Spotted a similar colour Bonnie crossing Johnson St in Annandale yesterday arvo.

I am, (Balmain) but I wasn't out yesterday. I'm on call for work this weekend. I did go for a ride up to Palm beach on wednesday though, came back alongside Ku-Ring-Gai Chase. Turns out if you ride that far without gloves you should have sun cream on your hands... Good fun though.

Oh yea, slight update - this is actually the 790. The guys selling it listed it wrong... Oh well.

How has this been going for you? I haven't heard how well these hold up. How many klicks have you put on it?
Nice bike, if I didn't say so before in the thread!
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
It's been rock solid. I can't remember how many kms were on it when I got it, but I would've put about 5-6000 kms on it I guess. Mostly city riding, a few longer trips (which were totally awesomely confortable btw) and the only issues've been a broken clutch cable and a flat tyre, both of which are normal wear and tear. It's a pretty basic machine really, air cooled and carbies so pretty low stress. So yea, super comfy, super reliable, super styling.
