    Cars that should NOT have been built

    Never driven one, but I think everyone would agree that it was a death-trap.

    i dont know about everyone else but i think this goes along the same lines as the cars ppl hate the most

    Maybe so - but I don't HATE this car -
    After what I've read about it I think it was a mistake to build this car.
    I thought other people could contributr with cars they thought should not have been built.
    The Edsel, Corvair, P76, etc etc....
    each to his own.

    But to be serious - I don't think Merc should have built the 'A'. It arrived with huge safety fanfare, no power, no looks and a ridiculous price.
    Merc thought people would buy it because it was a Mercedes -
    WRONG!

    I am loath to use the words "should not have been built " , for who am I to say but, a couple that earn my undying ambivalence are the new incarnations of the Mini, Beetle, mainly for their lets cash in on the retro fad attitude. The Chrysler PT Cruiser and the MG TF so called sports cars.

    im not a bid fan of the pt cruiser myself, seriously underpowered, questionable stlying and isnt it FWD?

    Well GM alsways had a partial ownership they bought part of the comapny (dawoo) and gave them engines more specificly the camira engines if the camira didnt exiswt who knows what might of happend?
