It's the opposite way, it should be 0 and with more than 12 it gets revoked (At least in Florida)

I got 4 points for my ticket, but did a stupid 4 hour traffic course and got rid of them.

Nope... in BC, you have a set number of points, and lose them as violations occur I think it's 3 points that you start with...
