NONE of the modern bands are 'punk'.
Most because they're part of or running profitable record companies.
Secondly because they're poor copies of the originals.
You can't have second generation 'punk' or it isn't 'punk' !!
Sex Pistols, Clash, Damned, Buzzcocks and even more the hundreds of others who played the bars and clubs and joined in the fighting.
The NY scene with Ramones, Blondie, and Talking Heads were all just a little more polished and less "in yer face".
