The Design of the Moroder was originally slated as a Countach replacement, but when Lamborghini (Rightly) Turned it down, it was passed on to Cizeta.

Because it was also styled by Marcello Gandini, responsible for both the Countach and Diablo, as well as the initial styling of the EB110, some of the other posts in this thread are wrong. It was never presented to Lamborghini, it was designed by Claudio Zampolli, an Italian Ferrari dealer living in Los Angeles, who still does engine tuning for Ferrari Challenge cars. Thanks for the pictures.Originally Posted by McLareN
