Just looks like an old Chevy HotRod with a boatload of stupid modifications.

It's no Prowler. Way too tall and differently shaped. It's either a radically modded Chevy or Ford from the 30s/40s or a ground up car from scratch. If it's a modded car I'd lean to say Ford, from the grille.

whatever it is it does not qualify for the term "Classic"

Homemade 'classic' rod. More interesting is the woman in the background, who seems to have been caught in the act of teleporting. "Beem me up, it's not one of ours, just some polished scraps of tin."

Does anybody have pictures of the original cars that are typically used to make 'hotrods'? I'm not sure of the exact models so they're kinda hard to find...

...thanks to anyone that can help

The grill is 40 ford based, the rest looks like a seriously modded 34 roadster, I would say scratch built, not truly bassed on anything
