    You think so?

    Im not so sure, each step along the way he's moved up the food chain so to speak, and generally speaking, going from one discipline/team to the next you obviously cut ties. But this is different, this is going from running the most succesful team this century to running, among other things, the series that that team runs in. I think there may be just a little to much conflict of interest. If it wasn't a straight jump to the top job, if he had 2 years doing something else in the FIA then sure. I just think its a too quick transition. Only an opinion, its human nature to want to help your friends after all...

    I think Ron Dennis actually has that title, as under his leadership McLaren have bagged 7 Constructor's and 10 Driver's titles, whilst under Todt Ferrari have only scored 6 Constructor's and 5 Driver's titles.

    According to my bad maths and shoddy research anyway.
    Thanks for all the fish

    shoddy indeed, this "century" only started 6 years ago....

    Well, since a century is 100 years so must have started 100 years ago.

    Periods of 100 years which are called centuries normally start with the year zero. Of course Ron Dennis has every chance to become the most successfull team leader in this century (the current 100 year period starting from 2000) , but you have to admit that tiny Todt has had a head start

    You're both right
    Century:
    * A period of 100 years.
    * Each of the successive periods of 100 years before or since the advent of the Christian era

    Ron Dennis has had a much longer period to work with too....and he only had this position at McLaren. Todt has done the same thing for Peugeot for their rallying and sportscar program, as Matra have point out already...
