Nice pics! Ive never seen them before.
...Wait Is that a V12 I see? The XJ220 only has a Twin Turbo V6!!? It must be a pre-production version because they were originally going to use the V12 when the designs were being made.
EDIT: Confirmed, yes it is the prototype, a couple of changes in the body work are also noticeable. Imagine if they had kept the v12 though That would be one AWESOME car!! Even with its v6 it held the record for worlds fastest car until the Mclaren f1. But what is with the rims on this Jag?? They look like frisbees! You would think theyd have nicer rims wouldnt you?

I think the reason the V12 was dumped was that they couldn't get better performance than a V6 would while meeting emissions regulations. Shame...

"We used to come down, doing about 180mph. We take off over the bridge and change down to 4th gear in the air. Go through the righthander with the car drifting, and let it swing out through the lefthander and then slide out to the wall, where we simply stopped it with a flick of the wrists"

The oridinal XJ220 concept had a V12, Jaguar then presold several cars.
Somewhere along developement Jag decided to go with the twin turbo V6 and when the custoers found out, several customers cancelled their orders.
