I think that the degree of specialization and the overall talent of drivers today in general exceeds those of drivers past.

There are better training methods, more preparation, more money, and of course, a bigger talent pool. It's like that in most of the sports I know.

he just won the Germany Rallye again, for the 8th time in a row, (in fact he won all editions since it started). Now competition this year might not be the strongest, but surely during this whole 8 year period there have been some serious contenders around.
