The Stratos with new aerodynamic bodywork created by Bertone took part at four races in 1976 and one in 1977. Only one victory in Giro d'Italia Automobilistico 1976 driven by Facetti/Sodano, in 1977, at the same race, Munari/Sodano had gearbox problems and did not win.

    Entry in Main Database?

I've looked for an entry for the Stratos Turbo Gr.5 here and at the other reference sites I use to look up cars. Unless I've blundered in my search, it seems like there isn't one. Could someone add an entry? Perhaps that's not how this works, though. (?) At any rate it seems like there's enough information in this thread to create an entry in the main part of the site.

The way it usually works ockraz, is the main site gets an entry when the authors have first hand experience or direct press release to then publish.

Collated info and "borrowed" pics get a place here.

Hopefully Wouter/Pieter will come across a Gr5 and do it justive with full photo portfolio and write up

Oh- okay. I guess by internet standards I've been 'lurking' (just observing without entering into dialog) since '08, but I've wondered how that worked. Are the authors a specific limited group of people (eg, Wouter/Pieter) like an online magazine, or can an author be merely a member of the community here who happens to be in a position to contribute more like a wiki?

PS Thanks for taking the time to address my questions

Wouter is the owner of UCP, and does large amounts of the writing for the site (and some other publications), but he does, however, use some other people's efforts at times.

If you have information to contribute I'm sure he would be interested in hearing from you
