That's good advice.. I'm a little cheesed off that i didn't get the GEN3 Commodore sleeper delight that would have been.

So i started cleaning up my block visually and giving it a fresh coat of high temp enamel in my favourite colour. Red

After giving it a hit with the pressurised degreaser and the steel brush, a good wipe down with plenty of paper towel. I prepped to spray. Not being a professional painter by any means nor having any masking tape I did what I could, which wasnt much.

Im happy with the result though and the minimal precautions I took whilst not great were sufficient. Results speak for themselves. I havent done the other side yet as wanted to see how first side went.

Also attached is my near complete reassembly pack.

Sump and rocker cover are to be blue. White is well... not really suitable for an engine bay

The FOSC Bathurst event, Easter 2010, now that would be farkin cool, we could all run in modern reg. We better bring a tow rope for Cycos Jag, it will probably (definetley) break down on the top of the mountain

There were road cars running in easter, so it looks like the cars dont need to be logged. Im going to enter in Mod Reg as well as IP, as long as I get a drive round Bathurst I dont care

I think the rule should be if the Jag breaks down the Jag gets burnt

New developments. Possibly a change of car in the engine swap... A potential opportunity has arisen pending some things...
