    looking at this one atm.. negotiating the price. figure i can get 2,500 for the engine and gearbox when i sell them.

    found this in a barn in bauple, north of gympie (aka forever away up north).
    he also had a rusted shell (useless) and the standard 1500cc engine. which i didn't need but it was so tiny and lonely i gave it a hug.

    until i can find a body that's straight enough. will have to fab up or order some fibreglass bits once i get one (to make sure they fit)

    i've got the mould for the bonnet and doors, and can possibly get access to one to do the entire body in fibreglass, which would be suitably lightweight.
    a british auto parts store is closing down in two weeks, going along to check it out..

    in other news, i may also have obtained twin 40mm webers and a crossflow head for my mini.

    yep, i hope it's still available.
    i'm putting together my engine and gearbox on monday, aim to get the car done by july.

    1. - deseaming done!
    2. triumph rock crawler 4x4
    3. on the stands, we rolled the chassis under to check if it clears
    4. drag car! not quite fitting right.
    5. the offending item..
    6. bonnet still needs some love.
