    Citroen and Peugeot whilst part fo the same group were very competitive and secretive about each program.
    The 405 raid was an extended spaceframe 205T16 Raid.

    "Between 1990 and 1997, Citroën won 36 events out of 42 with the ZX Rallye Raid. Citroën held the manufacturers' crown in the World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies from 1993 to 1997. In 1992, this car took part in the first Paris-Moscow-Beijing rally, the toughest rally raid ever. This 16,054 km marathon, which included 7,355 km of timed stages, was won by Pierre Lartigue and Michel Perin, who thus demonstrated the value of Citroën's advanced technology."

    It´s really quite impressive...
