    Sorry if I cannot express myself correctly, but I don't know English as good as I want, so my answers will probably be the same in many cases.

    Wow, that looks like the road car variant. Seems it'd be incredibly rare, like the Nissan R390. That era had the coolest looking cars- the CLK GTR was really cool, and the the Porsche 911 GT1 was just freaking awesome.

    Rare = 1....they made just 1...

    CLK-GTR in comparison is plentiful...911 GT1 98 would be comparably rare...

    I always dreamed of Top Gear doing a review of all of these rare race cars for the road. I actually sent them a message years ago with the suggestion, but I would bet getting all of them together would be rather impossible.

    Getting any of those silly LMP 'road' car versions would be impossible, they only had to make one and they didn't have to sell it, so they were only ever destined to the warehouse. The earlier 'have to make 25' or whatever era maybe, but it would be kinda pointless really. "It's loud, uncomfortable, hot, I can't hear myself and it's damn near impossible to drive."

    I think the least rare car of them all would be the CLK GTR.

    Tiff did a test of one at some point.

    Well, actually the earlier 'have to make 25' or whatever era cars have already been tested several times, since the GT1 category was originally created to allow (then current) supercars to race in endurance motorsport. Cars like the Ferrari F40, the Jaguar XJ220, Bugatti EB110 or the McLaren F1.

    Then Porsche and Daimler perverted the original spirit of the rules by creating barely road legal purpose built racing cars and then Toyota found that they didn't have to produce 25 road cars at all, one was enough.

    And finally the original GT1 category was no more.
    Lack of charisma can be fatal.
    Visca Catalunya!
