    Project Brabham

David Brabham, son of the late Sir Jack, has relaunched the Brabham brand with an ambitious open-source and partially crowd-funded project. The aim is to run an LMP2 car in the near future and then move up to LMP1. Other classes like Formula E and ultimately even Formula 1 are also under consideration.

If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

hopefully this will be more successful than the rebadged BMW's that somebody tried to sell as Brabhams many years ago.

That had nothing to do with the Brabham family.

I know, but the initiators of that project surely tried to piggy back on the Brabham name.

The telemetry tier sounds fun, and I hope he succeeds. Worth a 25 quid punt I reckon.

I never thought I'd live to see an Indiegogo being made for a racing team.
