    - "wrecks": while exploring the open road network you will find wrecks which will unlock special cars

    - different ways to progress: raceresults, profilepoints earned through driving maneuvers (or stunts) in cruisemode, social aspects (buy and selling cars and stuff, using multiplayer features shown above)

Definitely buying this, especially after seeing the E3 trailer.
Buying a car and not driving it is like buying a meal and not eating it.

Whenever I hear Ride of the Valkyries, it always reminds me of driving around in a dark red Maserati 3500 GT in the prequel of this.

Interested, altough where are the classics?

looks like pretty much the same game (in a good way) , but graphics and more selection

hopefully they sorted out the TDU quirks, though

if they fix the party system, mods and handling this could be really good. the first was really fun to cruise around in with some friends in a convoy, challenging randoms to a race..but that was it.

Hope the physics dont baby you so much..

Drifting was almost impossible in the old one.. Cars were too grippy

Is anyone else laughing at the inclusion of 4WD tracks and some offroaders?
I want to take a murcielago off road now..

modifying was too simple too, standardised for everyone... couldn't tune your own setup.

Unfortunately I think its a far reach to expect anything within sight of forza's ability of setup, I'm actually looking forward to just cruising around + shenanigans though.

Pitty the single player was just so 1 dimensional.. did love the marathon around the island race though.

Definitely buying this. I loved the first one, except online was a bit of a problem for me. I couldn't get on after a few weeks o_O.

I didn't play much of the first one.. I tried it, then went back to GT4. Hopefully the new physics engine is a bit more engaging.

Can't wait. As far as pretending you own cars you don't own, this game offers what nothing else does. It's said to include both Ibiza, and the old island of O'ahu as well.
