the C1 diesel is not available in Holland. The emission figures I saw for the car (in the UK) correspond to 109 g CO2/km, while the C3 does only 95 g/km.

I was talking about the petrol car .
My dad uses one for mixed driving (mostly city), and does 23km/L.
And this is only a 10km trip everyday

well, where I live, diesel is 30 cents per liter cheaper than petrol....apart from that, CO2 figure for the 1.0 version here is 103 g/km, so also on that front the C3 seems to be a tat better.

I think they both sold a 207/C3/DS3 99g, from late 2010 to early 2011 but was discontinued and I don't think it was much publicised.

Not the eHDi has taken over.

the Ford , Audi & VW in that list are all 1600's

getting a 400cc cylinder to run that cheaply is simply fantastic. they all have a bit of torque too if you need legal speed overtaking - its not like they are devoid of power to get their economy

The VW Polo is a 1200 three cylinder....The Ford engine is the same as in our C3. Strangely, the Audi version that we are getting delivers 105 BHP and produces 102 gr/km.
