My friend found a DKW 3=6 today at a yard sale ,
It has a dead motor in it ,
Has anyone put a modern 4 stroke motor in one ?
Its a neat car , but it would be nice to have a modern motor so you could buy parts for it,
any ideas ?
thanks
Dave

Hi and welcome to UCP. Depending on where you are, you be able to get into contact with the German DKW-Club, who might have some parts available. A good engine choice could be the Ford V4 as also used in the Saab 96. It is also based on front wheel drive and much more powerful.Originally Posted by southbay356
