This weekend, 2009 World Champion Jenson Button will compete in what looks set to be his last ever Formula 1 Grand Prix. To celebrate his successful single seater racing career, we have today taken a renewed look at the Brawn GP BGP001 Mercedes he used to win the 2009 World Championship. The car's history looks to come straight out of a Hollywood movie with a team on the verge of demise rising from the ashes to stage the most unlikely World Championship campaign of the last decades. Featured today is the BGP001 that Button drove throughout the year and is today owned by Ross Brawn himself. It was certainly not a fluke for the team as at the same Grand Prix that Button bids farewell, the team's current iteration, Mercedes GP, will see one of its two drivers crowned World Champion for the third year in succession.
Lotus, meanwhile, have announced the fastest ever Exige in the form of this Sport 380. As the name suggests, it is powered by a supercharged V6 that produces around 380 bhp. This allows the compact sports car to 100 km/h in well under four seconds and onto a top speed of 284 km/h. The Exige Sport 380 is available as a Coupe or a Spider with a removable hard-top.
