I thrashed a Micra at one point! Plenty of fun, I can tell ya.

    Audi S2

Between 17-20MPG (on a very good day)
Quite sedate driving, when you get 17MPG in England with these petrol prices, you think twice before prodding at that right pedal.

Am at university now so don't have the car here, thank god. The o ne thing about driving I don't miss is filling the tank up.
Audi humbles Porsche. A new dawn starts today.

    Being nice since 2007.

Just filled up my Mom's '04 Ford Escape today. 3.0l DOHC 24v Duratec V6, AWD, 4-spd auto, driving gets split pretty evenly between my Mom (she's Austrian and drives like it: wild), my Pops (pretty sedate driver most of the time), and myself (probably the most sedate of all three of us). We recorded 20.58mpg, or 11.42l/100km.

Well in between me doughnutting, handbrake turning and hitting 150 on the motorway, its a pretty decent drive

naa its a fun little car, perfect for a starter. couldnt ask for a better first car, nippy, decent speakers, and 5 doors - so your mates dont have to clamber over each other!!

    Indeed ..

Candid admissions of "doughnutting" with mates in overcrowded Micra is beyond the pale imho

I liked the previous Micra, but the new one is hideous. Whoever makes something so short so tall and then tries to use bug-eye headlights and thinks it looks good should be subjected to...well, I don't know, I'm working on that one still

Last year, My Dad had an accident involving his car being sent spinning across the M25 having been PITTed by a Dutch trucker. He was given a new Micra 3dr in purple as a courtesy car. It was sooo shit! Not only does was it dark purple, the actual car looks like a frog with a stick shoved up it's arse, the gear box was, I quote "absolutly useless and knobbly, it's like it's made out of wood & cabbage.." What were Nissan's design department thinking!? Cute? My ass!

Ouch... yeah, courtesy cars are generally crap we had a 'Chevrodaewoo' Kalos and a Vauxhall Corsa whilst the Civic got repaired... the Kalos was TERRIBLE!

I think the new Micra is kind of appealing... I mean, yeah, so what, I like it. What're you gunna do?
