    Just Saw Bullitt

Wonderful movie. I had wanted to watch it for a long time now, but I haven't had a chance to do so. I had that chance tonight. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, after I read the article about the new Bullitt in Motor Trend.

The movie was awesome. The plot is somewhat confusing, but I got it all in the end.

And the chase scene. OMG. It's amazing.

I am not a fan of American cars, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I liked seeing old parts of San Francisco, and America in the late 60's, early 70's.

Next movie up on my list- The French Connection. Can't wait to watch it.

    Edit-

Oh, and btw, the original Ford Mustang looks so much better and is so much cooler than the current one.

    And the cars sound amazing.

No, but being only 17 years old probably has something to do with it.

Excuses, excuses. I saw it when I was 13. Which was a couple of years ago, for those who can't handle basic math.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I saw it when I was 14 or so. Saw Rendezvous also. Get out and live a little.

Still haven't seen Le Mans though.
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

Wasn't much of a movie, I thought...but Steve McQueen and the chase scene made it all worth it. Steve McQueen PWNS

I haven't seen Bullitt. But I have seen Le Mans. I even bought it on DVD.

    It's not great.

Isn't it less a movie, and more some very nicely shot on-track footage from Le Mans?

No it is a movie. The on-track stuff is mostly staged.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
