im watchin cbs and they say 66 bush to 74 kerry, but their PROJECTED specs show 278 bush and 260 kerry

esperante, yours is right, but they just counted virginia, 13 electoral votes for bush
every state has a certain amount of 'points,' if you will, one for each senator. You win the state's popular vote, you win the points. The one iwth most points wins.
