The coupe looks pretty good. The sedan version is better than the Impreza, although it is slightly bland. It's a family car. What are you expecting? ;)
It's gotta appeal to a wide crowd.
well, the last US accord did suck more than this... not by much, but they are both pretty blah. the european accord was stunning. loved it. they can have a beautiful slightly unconventional design that appeals across the board. see the new civic to see what i mean. this is styling by focus group yet again.
Civic is a lot more interesting looking, even the north american/japanese model....
The Ridgeline grille doesn't work on a car....

Yes, the last one was real bad compared to this one, so I'm pretty happy this one came out half decent.
We do get the European Accord, it's the TSX.
Yeah, the Civic is focused towards younger groups, so it's a bit more adventurous.

It's a weird shaped grill, but I don't think it's a Ridgeline grill.
To each his own. :D

the tsx is great, but thats not really an excuse for the accord to look like ass. it can still have a coherent design. the civic was just an example of a honda with a fairly revolutionary design.
Coupe looks ok. I would consider the car if it wasn't because the new Altima Coupe came out and looks much better... (At least the exterior)

And don't you think that our Accord just looks so much better?
About the Civic, it's not that directed at younger groups we here use mid sized hatchbacks as family cars and we can gladly take modern and daring desings, like the Megane (altough that's probably just ugly). Our Civic is good, even if the range is a bit limited, like with the Accord.
yuck. very bland.
It's not ugly, just really bland.
Juyst like its main competitor in America.. the Camry.
Neither of them is ugly per se, but to quote a well know auto journalist:" It's just a lump of car".
