No...Carbons not a gas AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
Youve just got to heat it up enough

Indeed. Carbon is a atom :) With some other atom attached to it it can be a gas.. doesn't necassarily need to be oxide.any would be fine
-
I meant at RTP. You're not going to be heating it to a gaseous state while driving are you? :p

NFS was sort of un update on the original NFS :) Same cars as in the first version :D

Personally, I like Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. Great variety of cars (Lotus Elise up through McLaren F1 LM) and the helicopter cops are great fun. It also has great tracks; I love Palm City Island.
I have Need for Speed: Most Wanted also, but the tuner aspect of the game doesn't appeal to me. I want to see a new Need for Speed where the cars are stock, and only stock. Is that too much to ask?

or the darwin awards
I have nfs Porsche Unleashed...its pretty good...but not as good as LFS (bad engine sound on LFS)!!!
LFS S2 is physics orientated, when it comes out of alpha we'll probably see a better audio engine and by S3 we get the snazzy gfx)
-
Well, EA is not going to give up on the tuner scene yet here's some news.
One of the cars in the Trailer appears to be a 996 Porsche.
There is a GT40 from what we can see though.
However, the freedom of tune or not is supposed to return.
It'll be X360 and PS3.
The next NFS game will be called NFS Carbon and it will only be available for PS3...I think. No photos have been released yet but a video has...I haven't seen it yet. Another great tuner game...every new one better than the last one!
I love information like this. You think the game will be released, and you're already sure the game will be great and better than the last ones...
-
if this new nfs is even half a fun as the rest of them then it'll be great.
however, it had better run better than most wanted, otherwise i'll cry :)
i have a feeling that it will be like a halfway ground between MW and Underground 2. Proper performance cars but with "tuning" like U2
also has everyone forgot that carbon fibre is in fact used for high performance cars eg. carrera gt.....
-
also has everyone forgot that carbon fibre is in fact used for high performance cars eg. carrera gt.....
I think everyone remembers. It's just the fact that the last NFS games have been to do with tuning, you automatically assume it'll be the same here.
We'll just have to wait and see.

only PS3? that's terrible... i dont have any console things and not intended to have one just to play it... PC version please?!
-
Screw NFS when you can get GTR2 in 1 month approx. :D
