Sorry for all those who haven't seen it yet but I just wanted to mention something about it.
I am the only person who is fed up with Clarkson's rubbish power tests??
4 seconds of tyre smoke doesn't constitute a review of a car and the bias against said car was pretty shocking...
That said the trucking bit was pretty hilarious :)
I just don't really like Clarkson. He's a bombastic SOB who comes off in all the wrong ways. Now that I've actually watched a few episodes, I really like the premise of the show, though. And once, I actually agreed with Clarkson on something, which flabbergasted me...but I can't remember now what it was. It was something in that episode when they were trying to find the greatest driving road in Europe.
Loved the bit today with Hakkinen and Capt. Slow.
Watched it earlier today, thought it was great.
Corvette V8-powered blender ftw :D
I think they could have made the Avantime-Evo thing a little more interesting.
They could of had them buy secondhand part and such.

I really wanted to see Clarkson sort out the "POOWEEEEER" bit with some good will and a hammer.
But that didn't happen.
And also a much more elaborate weight reduction, they proved with their old rusty Jag XJS how beneficial it is to remove all the unnecessary stuff...
It needed octuple TERBOZ.
One hot lap of win, then boom!
Pretty good episode, ended much sooner than I expected though. The challenge bit should have been longer but the Captain Slow/Hakkinen was good.

I think they wanted it to be as trrack and road capable as an Evo.
Though they did fit semi-slicks...
That wasn't a bad episode. The Avantime bit was brilliant. Everything i shouted at the TV for them to do they did, which was funny. There must have been not much left of those Toyo R888s after all that, the Stig was really giving it some!

He actually looked pretty fast in that Volvo.
James May is ace. :)
Pretty good episode, altough the wheelchair at the beggining was a little odd.

I actually quite like. I have seen them in action and they look like a pretty good fun. Although I do doubt that they will take the world by storm.

Yes, but it was a bit like the lorry challenge in the first episode of the series, didn't feel very car related.

It didn't belong in that episode as well.
It was intended for series 11, you can even see it in the series 11 preview (the first episode).
It makes perfect sense as Clarkson stayed an extra day in Japan to further test the GT-R, May tested the Orochi and the Galue, and Hammond tested that chair.
