That's what my dad's car has on it now, they are quiet and handle very well, but be prepared to replace them soon. He drives like a grandma (and so do I when I'm in his car...as far as he knows) and has never tracked it and they are pretty much toast at 12,000 miles.
Judging by your avatar picture you track the G35, so you will probably appreciate the grip a lot more and worry less about the tire life. :)
thats weird.... the reviews both on g35driver.com and on tire rack say this car can get over 20k on these tires easily. one guy replaced rears and double stinted the fronts, getting almost 42k on them. the OEM potenzas wore really quickly, and i can tell the PS2s already have a lot more grip than RE050s did. im excited to actually drive them. i'll probably take them out on a real drive this week, and autox on them early april.

What kind of car does he have?

The beast in my avatar (RS6). The Quattro is probably a huge reason why they have had such a short lifespan.

If anything the tires would suffer less because the power is divided between four instead of two.
And yet the G35 seems to get 20k miles out of them with two wheel drive.

That and the weight. Not that the G35 is featherweight, but the RS6 is above 4000lbs...

+1 to that, Dad's car has done 57,000mi and is just on it's 3rd set of fronts, 2nd set of rears. We know someone with a Quattro version and they'd replaced all 4 tyres about 8 times in that space

But wouldn't the power going to the fronts cause them to wear faster than normal since now they are turning and also driving, as opposed to just rolling and turning?

Good call. :p

Yep, but the rears should last more than a rear wheel drive car.

What exactly is that? It looks like a moldy roll of carpeting to me.
