Kuruma, a car for a one-make series called 'Inter Proto Series'.
What is this one?
Nice to see clean lines on a car again - without the massive wings and spoilers.
Kinda reminds me of the beautiful Alan Mann Ford F3L a little bit.
Series?
Year?
I think the venue is Laguna Seca - climbing up to the corkscrew.
The rest of this answer was supplied by my friend, F5000 enthusiast Richard West:
"F5000 1972. Sam Posey in #34 Surtees, either Brett Lunger, or David Hobbs in the Lola T330 next to him. The red car two rows back is Graham McCrea in a Leda McCrea." - Rich West

Anyone care to take a guess at what this is?
Picture's pretty bad, but can anyone tell me what the car to the right of the BMW is?
My dad says it's a Mercedes, I don't think it is.

Well it has a HUGE Nissan badge attached to it.
Nissan Murano maybe?

Haha, no not that one, way to the right- the old looking one, in front of the Toyota Avalon.
Apologies for not being more specific.
I am not remotely interested in any new Nissan unless it says GT-R or 370Z.
The white roadster?
Jaguar XK (120 probably).

Looks like a good match!
Thanks!
The older white car seen from the rear is a Jaguar XK-120
The XK 140 would have different trim and a body-width rear bumper, and the XK-150 had a 1-piece windshield, so it's gotta be an XK-120.
