Moskvitch 2141-KR Aleko Group B 1986 #1
Do you have some specs on this car? I would like to see what kind of power it put out.
Not too big - the engine was derived from a standard Moskvich unit, so there should be no illusions - the car was made from what was available. 1995cc engine gave out 175hp. With about 890kg of weight it was capable of 200km/h, which should have been enough for rally tracks anyway. I think it raced in USSR actually, so it was not only a design study or anything like that. The car is still alive, by the way.
P.S. In Russian speaking sources the car is said to have been developed in 1988.
By 1988 Group B had already been long-cancelled, and this is supposed to have been a Group B study?
Info about the car is scarce to say the least.
In USSR there was Gr.A5 which allowed participation of non-production cars with a very wide range of modifications, so the vehicles like this could be used in A5. Another question is how popular that category was, as I have no idea - my knowledge of rallying is really very limited.

Maybe it did compete with that strange looking Lada rally car. Who knows? I'm sure there are only 1 or 2 surviving copies of either car left in the world.
Somebody knows, for sure, it's just not me. Both Moskvich 2141-KR and Lada EVA are alive, the original ones.
