very few people ever owned an XKSS...(but S. McQueen did).

It probably is the best Jaguar, if by that definition one you can buy new.

Exactly, something along that line. Jag's road car really is so so past 60s aside from their historical good look. But they made their name in racing....
Just go drive this one and you might change your tune :)
I am sure they are great, but then again all cars costing that much should be and if its better than a similarly priced Porsche or something is doubtful...
