The F430 is a very nice car, and would probably be faster than the Gallardo, but I'll still take the Gallardo. It is one of my all-time favourite cars.

gallardo for me
F430 for me.
For the same reasons in already postet in the two existing polls/comparisons/whatever...
[QUOTE=andy.muc]The latest issue of "EVO" features a nice article about a day with these two cars :D
About the F430: "You can stab up and down the gearbox like bursts of machine-gun-fire"
My vote goes to the F430 since i fell in love with it the first time i saw it.

F430 for me. It beats the Gallardo on everything including, IMO, on looks.
I can't say, i have seen a gallardo but not a F430.

pah wtf no way :p
I love the new F430. Not because I'm a Ferrarist. Even if the f430 would be a SssangYong, I wouldn't change my mind about it.
BUT GALLARDO IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CARS. I LOVE IT TOO. I'm an italian car maniac =), I think.... Gallardo is superb! I love its style...
From the pics that cc posted, the both look pretty similar in yellow
actually two competely different cars, almost like comparing with apple and oranges.
Gallardo beats the 430 on looks.
And the 430 ain't cheap, Ferrari have base model price listed on paper, to "lure" people into the dealerships, by the time you add on the nessasary parts as they called it "options" it's more than a Gallardo.
Not really completley different: both aimed at the same 'new money' market; both mid-rear engined; both two-seaters; both Italian; both made mostly out of Aluminium; similar figures... etc etc.
I'd take the F430, I'm in the somewhat enviable postion of having driven both... Gallardo at Oulton Park and a Gallardo and F430 at Chobham... and the 430 is possibly the greatest, most complete car ever. It's almost too good.
Incidentally, if you want to see the 430 I drove, just take a look at the feature in EVO - V8 EDF was 'mine' for a few glorious minutes.

What do you call necessary parts ? Everything that is added is a matter of taste/choice . The most important options on the Ferrari are also optional on the Lambo ( F1 gb and CC brakes , Not sure if Lambo offers racing seats ? ).
But a 6 speed manual with steel brakes is already all the necessity you need.
What about Ferrari crests on the wings? £1,800
Yellow tacho? £600
Red brake calipers? £500
How is that necessary ?
Oh come on, as if you wouldn't want the crests!
Although I will agree on the manua gearbox, the CC brakes are the tits!
