Final Geneva Motor Show preview with first releases ...

Tomorrow, the doors will open for the ever highly anticipated annual Geneva Motor Show and to get you in the mood, we have taken a first look at the latest announcements. One of the most exotic is unquestionably the Techrules Ren RS. The high performance Chinese machine features no fewer than six electric motors, good for a combined 1,287bhp. The range of the sophisticated machine is further extended by a turbine generator. Responsible for the styling of the Ren RS are father Giorgietto and son Fabrizio Giugiaro.
This evening, at the Volkswagen Group press conference, Bentley presented the company's first hybrid car in the form of the Bentayga Hybrid. The plug-in hybrid SUV features a new turbo-charged V6 that works together with an electric motor. Also revealed there was the Cupra e-Racer, which is an all-electric racing car introduced to highlight the launch of Seat's high performance sub-brand Cupra.
Mercedes-AMG will use the Geneva Motor Show to showcase an improved version of the C 43 Saloon. In its latest iteration, the twin-turbo V6 engine has modified to produce a further 17bhp for a total of 385bhp. This power is fed to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic.
Well known Mercedes-Benz 'enhancer' Brabus will reveal the latest 800 model, both in Saloon and Coupe form. Whole the former is based on the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S, the latter uses the Mercedes-AMG S 63 S Coupe as basis, which do both feature the same twin-turbo engine. With Brabus' modifications, this sophisticated unit pumps out very close to 200bhp per litre.
